Roland MacLane

Born February 21, 1903 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Roland MacLane was an American television writer through the Fifties and Sixties. Not much of his life and career is known, but it is known he wrote episodes of "The Dennis Day Show," "Make Room for Daddy," "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis" with Dwayne Hickman and Bob Denver, "Dennis the Menace," "My Three Sons," "Leave It to Beaver," "The Munsters," "The Donna Reed Show," "Gilligan's Island," "The Monkees" and "The Andy Griffith Show." He passed away on February 26, 1984 in Palm Springs, California. He was 81.
