Tehechapuku Oil and Mining Corporation

The Tehechapuku Oil and Mining Corporation is a remote deserted and abandoned oil company in Dustbowl, Oklahoma owned by Howell Industries. It's exact location is unknown; even Mr. Howell claims its either in the east or the west depending on which way the wind is blowing. It's unknown if it was ever a successful venture before it dried up, but several months after Mr. Howell vanished at sea, oil was finally struck on the property and the worth of the company went up, suggesting the property was possibly still being manned to some extent. Unfortunately, Mr. Howell had surrendered the corporation to Gilligan in lieu of a three million dollar bet. Ironically, hours after regaining the company, the oil found at Tehechapuku was discovered to be from a lost oil truck buried by the dust storms in the area, making it worthless once more.

- This is possibly the same dried-up oil company Howell tries to give to Wrongway Feldman in Wrongway Feldman.
- Ironically, Mr. Howell later gives Gilligan a real oil mine in Where There's a Will.
