Ron Friedman
A Carnegie Mellon University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture, Ronald I. Friedman is an American TV producer and screenwriter. He was born on August 1, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Not much of his career is known, he was thirty-three when he first wrote for the series, "My Favorite Martian." He later went on to write over 700 hours of episodes for many TV series, such as "Get Smart," "The Andy Griffith Show," "Bewitched," "Gilligan's Island," "I Dream of Jeannie," "I Dream Of Jeannie," "All in the Family," "The Odd Couple," "Happy Days," "Wonder Woman," "Charlie's Angels," "The Dukes Of Hazzard," "Sledge Hammer" and "Fantasy Island." A repeat Emmy Award-nominee and WGA Award-winner, he went on to produce and write almost exclusively for animated shows in the Seventies and Eighties. He is credited with helping to develop "G.I. Joe: The animated Series," and then producing and writing for "Transformers," "Bionic Six," "Iron Man" and "Fantastic Four" and the animated film, "The Transformers: The Movie."
