The Professor's Dynamite was a crude invention of the Professor used to mine scheelite rocks for use in the hopes of attracting Navy fliers or the Coast Guard for a rescue. The exact composition of the dynamite is unrevealed, but it may use the same nitroglycerine the Professor used to bomb the volcano. Unfortunately, Gilligan considers the dynamite a concealed weapon after the Professor carries a few sticks tucked in his shirt, preventing him from setting out the scheelite.
